Living Architecture

Living Architecture is a fashion collection inspired by iconic works of architecture from around the world. Each garment is based on a specific building, translating its distinctive forms, proportions, and structural details into wearable design. Rather than copying architecture, the collection reinterprets it through silhouette, construction, and carefully considered details, creating a dialogue between fashion and the built environment.

The collection draws inspiration from architectural masterpieces by Santiago Calatrava, Zaha Hadid, Richard Meier, William Van Alen, and other renowned architects. Every look explores a different architectural language from sweeping arches and flowing curves to vertical rhythms, sculptural volumes, and monumental geometries demonstrating how buildings can become a source of contemporary fashion design.

The final piece of the collection is a 3D-printed handbag inspired by Michelangelo's David. As an architecture student, I spent years drawing classical sculptures in art school, and David was one of the subjects I returned to repeatedly. That experience became the foundation for this project. Rather than reproducing the sculpture itself, I focused on one of its most expressive elements the gaze transforming it into a contemporary fashion accessory.

The handbag was designed digitally, produced using 3D printing technology, and finished by hand. It represents the meeting point of classical art, architecture, craftsmanship, and modern manufacturing.

Living Architecture demonstrates how architecture can move beyond buildings to inspire fashion objects, transforming iconic structures and works of art into contemporary wearable design while preserving their original identity through form and geometry.
